Hello from Montánchez!

I’m Ninka, born in Grubbenvorst. Together with my partner Tim, we’ve taken over Camperstop Alegría with great enthusiasm. We bought this lovely spot together and, due to circumstances, the day-to-day management and running of the camperstop falls to me. I make sure everything runs smoothly and that our guests feel welcome and at home.

After years of travelling in our expedition truck – from Belarus to Portugal and from Sicily to the North Cape – we developed a desire to create a place where we could combine our love of travel, nature and hospitality. That dream brought us to Montánchez, in the heart of Extremadura.

From the very first moment, Montánchez felt like coming home to us. The tranquillity, the mountains, the olive groves, the vultures soaring above the landscape and the authentic Spanish atmosphere make this a wonderful place for me to live and work.

With a great deal of love, I want to continue developing Camperstop Alegría into a personal and welcoming camper stop, where travellers can relax, enjoy the surroundings and experience the unique atmosphere of Extremadura.

Tim is my support and inspiration in this. Together, we’re enjoying this new adventure and everything that Montánchez and Extremadura have to offer.
